Aside from the Venom, which is absolutely true, even though Master is a classic and blah blah blah. Now, I don’t know the dates and you probably went to check them, but I said they started dressing and talking like "grungers" after the boom of Nevermind which, now that you mention it, even though it came out three weeks earlier, made boom boom boom before Ten. I didn't say that Even Flow is a plagiarism of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Good.

I still have to listen to it. I hope it's my fall album.

I'm 18 years old, I know the subject, I couldn't care less about the classics, I have my reasons for "criticizing them" (I'm not criticizing them, it's just a statement). We're back to "I like vs. I don't like." Starting over. I'm waving the white flag and sending kisses to everyone, but sometimes it seems to me that everyone confuses Debaser for their personal blog.

Trend followers in a "media" sense, Mauretto, even though I don’t quite understand what you mean by that. Also, I don’t want to and have never wanted to criticize anyone's tastes. It always comes down to like/dislike; I've even been told that I "can't" say this or that. Well, I have my PJ records, and I know them well. When I see veterans of an "underground" band like Green River forming a new group that debuts directly on a major label and plays the music of the old Green River a bit more "clean," I think of them as a "commercial" band. If I then see them starting to dress (during the Ten era) like "grungers" after the Nevermind boom the year before, I really think they are trend followers. But, to be fair, Vedder's voice and all the things they made you feel have nothing to do with this... It's perfectly fine to like "commercial" bands, and in fact, I still like Alice - I repeat - and I don't dislike Vitalogy and No Code. Tastes are sacred, and I just want to talk. Sometimes someone overdoes it a bit.

Sorry if I dropped in here late, but what does it matter!? Only old hippies who lived through the '60s can talk about the Doors... That doesn’t make sense. I listen, I inform myself, and then I speak. I’m not interested at all in going against the tide, especially since I’ve always liked Alice in Chains – just to name one – and they’re liked by millions of others. A few years ago, I bought some PJ records; can I talk about them or do I need to be twenty years older to do so? Can’t I shoot some derisive judgments about a historical period? Come on, you’re kind of straying off topic. :)

But I grew up with Grang, you know. I would say no. :)

Then, coming from someone who ranks all the metal albums in the galaxy—who, of course!—knows them all, it sounds a bit like Gregoraci saying she doesn't like oral sex.

Geeno, I have all the original Pearl Jam CDs (except for Riot Act, never heard it). What the hell are you implying? Try to make a sensible and concrete argument, okay? Am I asking too much, maybe?

Ah, I wanted to say, aside from the bullshit, that I was diplomatic before. The PJ were really just a trend-band, mediocre in that sense. I won't explain why, otherwise we’ll get into the usual talks about grangg, and since I just swallowed a big kebab, it would sit poorly. Though, I will admit that I like Vitalogy and No Code a little bit too...

But how come Giusty, after pleading with the staff not to ban him, has already reincarnated into 3 profiles? The sadness of life... Maybe one day he'll realize he's a piece of shit. Maybe. :)
