The bassist (Joe Rapido), like most of the other members who were part of RKL, ended up in the equally legendary Lagwagon (Chris Rest, Dave Raun, Chris Flippin).

Genitalgrinder, when are we getting a review on Murphy's Law? They're quite the stage animals as well...
James Cameron Titanic
Voto:
Overlooking the cloying love story, the film is an incredibly accurate reconstruction of the tragedy. The shift in atmosphere when the iceberg is sighted is striking, and from that point on, the film retraces the sinking almost in real-time. Every detail, including the little orchestra, is relevant to the actual events as they unfolded, and the narrative liberties are very limited (the officer who commits suicide, for example). Studying a bit of Titanic’s history, I was amazed at how much care Cameron took in presenting the story as it really happened.

Since there are knowledgeable people about the genre in this discussion, I turn to you, particularly De...marga...: is it possible that no one has ever defined/reviewed Rich Kids on LSD, better known as RKL?!
Persiana Jones Puerto Hurraco

just a clarification, Tremarella is a cover of a '60s hit by Edoardo Vianello..they are, in my opinion, the best in the Italian ska/punk scene of the '90s...seen a bit everywhere in those years, from beer festivals to the warped tour
Roger Waters Is This The Life We Really Want?
Voto:
I have to say that hearing "smell the roses" on the radio more than once has been a breath of fresh air during these musically depressing times. In today's sad landscape, you can't really criticize Roger Waters when we're bombarded with musical trash. The song itself is quite pleasant, even if a bit cheeky...as for the lyrics, what can I say...as in the days of Bush, there are bands that have made a living off "political protest" for years, which I find pathetic and lacking in creativity.
Maurizio Nichetti Volere Volare

Great movie, I have fond memories of Nichetti when he also did programs for kids on Rai (Pista!, with Banda Osiris...). But do you think in the nude scenes Finocchiaro used a body double?
Dino Buzzati Il deserto dei Tartari
Voto:
Beautiful book, fantastic author. I just wanted to remind everyone that the "Kafka of Navigli" was nonetheless born in Belluno... and from the already mentioned "sixty stories," I particularly remember "seven floors"... unsettling like few others. From this, the film "Il fischio al naso" was also adapted, starring Tognazzi.
