A metareview. A metadisc. A metagroup.

I appreciated the review, despite the blunder about Leadbelly that I'm trying to understand, and a couple of sappy remarks that would have made the review significantly more enjoyable (the point about wanting to create myths seemed nice).
As for the album: I haven't listened to it much; atmospheric and very expressive in execution, but I won't vote.
Regarding the conversations you have: isn't it annoying to hear you compare Zappa and Cobain? It's like saying "Cobain didn't have Zappa's mustache," to which one might respond, "Cobain's mustache is different from Zappa's and beautiful in another way." Do you realize that your argument is pretty much this?
You need to acknowledge this: Cobain had an unkempt goatee, not a mustache. So please avoid making ridiculous comparisons.
I might be annoying, but "talking about music is like dancing about architecture." As a Zappa fan, I expect less comparison between styles that are completely different in intent and sound.

Lazlotoz: Honestly, the title of the album still leaves me confused because, while it's true that the "best band" broke up a few months later, it's also true that in Italian, it sounds redundant to say "the best band you have never listened to," because the "never" already includes the negation. It could be translated either as "the best band you have never listened to," or "the best band you have ever listened to." Now I don't know, maybe I confused myself.
Dizionariorock: It takes more than Faust in terms of live performances. The difference lies in the type of work. "The best band" = demands of live performance, but also valuable rearrangements of already written works --> there's no need to be innovative at a musical level, whereas for Faust, the discussion is that Faust = the need to propose something new in the studio, with new and innovative material at a musical level.
So, if in the realm of live performances, Zappa's work is memorable, in the realm of studio works, that of Faust is not considered on par, for example, with a five from Hot Rats.
Regards.

In short, when you talk about the Uzeda review, you also use the second person plural, but what do you want from me? Do you hate me? Or is it a relationship of "Odi et amo"? Give me a 1 if you want, what do you want me to say, long live life.

Always in line with the author of the album: "Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible." I tried to write a "new" review, perhaps with the particular style of Debaser, which is "dìvèrs" (there's a contradiction in what I've just written, but I hope you don't want to make it another Gordian knot).
Then, come tell me your spiel on how to write a review when you yourself write them in the first person? You know that, canonically, you shouldn't be writing in the first person?

The review, if better explained, would have been acceptable. In my opinion, there are references to Zappa and Zappian intentions that influence the music; but not enough to define this album as a deviation from Lumpy Gravy, because the use of electronics by Faust is much more Krautrock compared to the already mentioned Baffo. Essentially, there is originality, but in my view, maturity is lacking.
Best regards.

I apologize for the absence of "Ring Of Fire." I wrote it a bit spontaneously, and it turned into something strange.
To Cappioalpollo: I would suggest, first and foremost, to browse through some treatises like "Le Rire - Essai sur la signification du comique" by Henri Bergson, or even "L'Umorismo" by perhaps the more famous Pirandello, to better understand the comedic-humorous process behind "let's choose a record to impress our acquaintances." Secondly, I tried to write a review as coherent as possible with the author’s thought: "Talking about music is like dancing about architecture." I realize that I could have cited some other titles (Ring Of Fire, but also Zoot Allures, Mr. Green Genes, I know), but surely it wasn’t a track-by-track or a cold analysis that I wanted to do.
Best regards, know-it-alls.

Brutal review. Beautiful album. Superior to the four, but I don't want to abandon.
