I suggest you change your nickname to "amarcord_foreva" :) I learned to play guitar at 17, self-taught. I'm not that great. I have never, and I mean never, learned a piece by Mogol-Battisti. I remember the first songs I studied were: "Linger" by The Cranberries, "Interstate Love Song" by Stone Temple Pilots, and "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M.
