The review is among the favorites, but the sentence about the Jews (cit. ABACO) is rather dangerous and cannot be thrown out there without at least some explanation on your part. I believe you cannot avoid it by glossing over it in private messages. Please provide some documentation, even briefly. On my part (our part?), I promise to consider the matter closed the moment you clarify, so as to not shift the focus away from the subject of the review, as is right.

I will read the review... the movie is not up for debate.

@AZZO: embarrassing? I find it more embarrassing that you want to position yourself as a "musical educator." (I’m so sorry you don’t want to re-educate me). My post seemed more than clear to me (I spoke of my truth). I bet if I hadn’t given it a 1, no one would have paid attention to my comment. It just bothers those who adore this album that the average rating gets lowered. And why should I look beyond my tastes when at 17 I freaked out big time for having thrown away 26,000 lire? (I mean, half of my "allowance")? My comment is only embarrassing because it's on Debaser, rather it’s simply out of place on Deb. Anyway, it's not like Mazzy Star is going to gain anything from all these 5s. Have a good Sunday.

@OLEEINAR: (I knew...) a matter of taste...yes

I have this album and I don't like it at all. I've never found anything in it. It lies in the attic along with many other "masterpieces" that the hype of those years made me foolishly buy (like: Leftism, Definitely Maybe, 4hero). I mean: all the Brit and trip stuff excited me, Primal Scream, even jungle and Pantera, but this album is just mind-numbingly flat, i.e., 0 evocative. I give it a 1 because, although it's a personal opinion, it’s my truth.

Punny, if you do that you're so superficial... Goldfrapp is eternally overrated. The single is obscene. (from someone who loves synthpop)
Voto:
Yes Punny, I am a very (very) superficial person.

Honestly, this photo doesn't say anything to me either. I don't see any research or accuracy of meaning. They are certainly big personalities, which exponentially increases the value of the shot. However, in itself, nothing original.

I recently discovered and got to know Susanna Parigi... "l'insulto delle parole" (2009) is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful albums of the decade. I don't have this in-differenze, but if that means anything. P.S. I need to reconsider my opinion on Kaballà. Great work here.
