p.s. I'm sorry, but the original version of "Lei verrà" is unbeatable. Just like the rose of winter. It makes me think that you weren't even born in '86.

It's still a collection even though it contains 2 exceptional singles and the unreleased version of Io rinascerò. But I'll be waiting for you when you tackle challenges that aren't as easy as "la mia ragazza è un gran caldo" and "arlecchino." ;-)

I have seen all the evenings as they are used to since 1984 (with a forced stop in 1997 because in those years they were dedicated to retrospectives of a certain depth like "Ultrà" and "il Branco" that made me lose Carmen's smudged lipstick, confused and happy). Anyway, the edition was led with sobriety and without too many frills. The songs weren't outstanding. I would have let the rejected song by Alma continue. Annalisa is quite the character; they need to give her decent songs. Maria Nazionale was a positive revelation. Silvestri was good, but what a bore. Eli, I don’t know. Cristicchi, I still can’t explain. Gualazzi and stic**** but sufficient song. Modà unbearable. Marta sui tubi were good. Chiara who? Malika was great with a logorrheic Sangiorgi this time. Gazzé was absent. Mengoni, who knows... Did I forget someone? Oh yes, Oscar Giannino... beautiful song but it seems it’s a plagiarism. I would have let him win anyway.

I imagine from your nickname that you are a fan of Mango. Well, so am I. When Mango made his debut at Sanremo in '85 with "Il viaggio" (which won the critics' award), I was 9 years old and I was struck by his vocality. Being Lucanian on my father's side, I followed his entire career. This is a beautiful record, elegant and exotic, but it is with "Inseguendo l'aquila" that Pino wrote his masterpiece. To all the detractors who will follow this post, I want to say that Mogol chose Mango as his musical partner right after his divorce from Battisti (oro 1984), working with him for a decade. In short, he must have seen some quality in him :-)

what a record

It's a fantastic record. I'm saying this as a lifelong detractor of the band. Truth in heaps in these songs. It's worth noting the collaboration of Diego Palazzo (egokid) in writing and guitar on many tracks of this surprising (for me) album. 5 to rebalance.

Come on guys, this is a good album. This comes from someone who has said all sorts of bad things about Baustelle.
