I agree, even though there are still a couple of directorial flashes here (the chase scene by Muccino and the apartment assault by Stefania Rocca). I (dis)advise you to watch "Giallo" to truly understand the level of horror (in a derogatory sense) that Argento's current film has reached. P.S. I prefer to consider Argento discontinuous rather than regressed, because I didn't mind the mini "Jennifer" and "Pelts."
