I'm tired of the rampant amateurism passed off as masterpieces. Porcaputt— 25 years ago, indie music was made by people who at least knew how to sing (Chimenti, Pelù, Sassolini ring a bell?) and play (of course). Now the proposals hide behind the usual: "Well, it has something to say..." So I say, write a book. With this "urgency" thing, there's no more filter... and anyway, I prefer the music (like Captain). And the other side of indie (Grazian, Amor Fou, Dottori, Coppola, Dilaila, Non Voglio Che Clara, Fasano, Fumaretto, Io?Drama, Valentina D, Redworms, Parigi, etc., etc.)

Well! I'm a bit perplexed. High-sounding names from Debaser who speak in such favor. I mean, Natalie proposed a really weak piece at Sanremo. I mean, if she gets 4 stars, then how many should pianist Susanna Parigi get? Two hundred? I haven't listened to the rest of the album, but I doubt we can talk about such an inspired work. I could be wrong, but then again, I might not be.

Vitols is definitely a great musician, but be careful comparing Fibra to Meneguzzi. A Fibra's lyric devours all the mush from many current "singer-songwriters" (perhaps even this one, since it doesn't seem to me that he was addressing profound issues at Sanremo). I'm not a rap devotee, but bear in mind that nowadays the best lyrics are written by them (Fibra, Caparezza, and Mondomarcio). I wouldn't even dare to compare Fibra's instrumental skills with Gualazzi's. Making rap isn't as simple as it seems. Kisses.
