I was there too, and I feel the need to say that the concert was beautiful, but perhaps it doesn’t deserve all the emphasis you highlighted. They were good and nice. However, Tonra's voice faded when the sound became more powerful, a sign that indicates she has some issues with dynamics (the sound engineer isn’t to blame). Also, I really didn’t take well to the fact that they didn’t perform "Lifeforms" in favor of "Get Lucky," a song that drives me nuts. Plus, the day before, I had seen Suede, who put on a surprisingly amazing live show. Anyway, 3 stars to Figlia for their performance at the Zecchino d’Oro theater.

interesting album but everything seems like things I've already heard. to tell the truth, ever since I listened to the entire discography of Joni Mitchell, it all feels familiar... ;-)

Well, Paul McCartney just doesn't resonate with me. He never has. I can't remember a single song. I mean from his solo career. Who knows. Anyway, much respect.

I don’t read reviews and comments because I smell spoilers for the second chapter. I love this movie. I have it on DVD and I've watched it about 10 times.

review of "I would but I can't." So you want to say you like it but don't want to shout it too loud... it's typical. I won't elaborate. The album isn't a milestone in the history of the eighties, but, and there are buts, it features a character with a pair of big balls for the times that were in. Moreover, what a great singer George is. A guy who never had a remarkable vocal range, but how he colored the words, I remember few others from that era (Sylvian?, Buchanan?). Later on, he also released some incredible albums (sold, the martyr mantras, cheapness & beauty). It's not at the top of my favorites list, but the CCs have my respect.

The next person who writes "I discovered GLI"; "I saw GLI"; "I listened to GLI" is going to get strangled. But according to what the hell kind of grammatical analogy can one confuse LI with GLI? Poor itaGLia!

well. I'll say it again: I think this album is beautiful. sure, maybe a couple fewer tracks would have been beneficial. but how can you even vote??? (how ugly is this layout!)
