the album is very intriguing, with sounds reminiscent of a softer pj harvey. francesca has been unfortunate in handling the consequences of a beautiful album like "MOsca bianca." I have always considered her more original and international than her more famous peers (where Carmen consoli's debut was almost a plagiarism of Tracy chapman and Cristina Donà heavily drew from Rid of me by HArvey). this "siberian..." is quite pleasant, with nice sounds and a particular flavor. I’m not very convinced about the choice of English, but it is what it is. p.s. it’s a pleasure to find a "alien" from '97 reintroduced here as "raised by the aliens." it tenderly takes me back.

The "Mejioprima" position is the most natural sexual position. It gets its name from the time when the Church was evangelizing distant lands. The priests sent to the indigenous people advised them to adopt this sexual position, presumably more favorable to procreation. This isn’t scientifically proven, but the missionary position is, nonetheless, a position practiced only by humans.
Roman Polanski Carnage

this film looks very promising because it has three enticing ingredients: 1) Polanski, who I loved in the last film whose title I can't remember (damn) but it was a great thriller 2) a four-way ensemble that promises sparks like Allen's "husbands & wives" 3) Jodie Foster, whom I've adored since I was 9 and whose articles I've cut out and VHS I’ve collected until I was well into my 18s... I won't miss it. piiis

And then let's stop with this "goblin" story that is almost 200 years old now.

I’ve been following Björk since the days of "Motorcrash" and "Hit." But this album seems like another letdown to me, like "Volta" (I listened to "Crystalline," "Cosmogony," "Moon"). The only one from the '90s who hasn’t disappointed me yet is Fiona Apple, but I’m waiting for her to drop something. As for the rest: Amos, Morrissette, Björk, O’Riordan... I’m passing. Passionate redemption but 0 objective.
