For fun, no.. but I saw both The Waves of Destiny (in the cinema when it came out) and Kieslowski's Trilogy of Colors. This movie, I repeat, is terrible.. with the villain looking like a drag queen and all those macho-marys just waiting to show off their long arrows... it may even be technically innovative (meh!) anyway, I prefer Hercules in the Lion's Den... etc.. I really hope we don’t make more films like this--

I'm sorry if I'll disappoint everyone! But the girl has talent and writes well for someone who is 15 (I mean, can you realize how many brainless peers she has around?). She definitely has a strong critical sense. My one criticism is for the movie (I laughed like a ferret at the scene where Blanchett says: I have to go east-or-west-I-don't-remember) heavy and annoying like sitting on 10 porcupines... so if that's the case for the movie, the book might be the same... and besides, I really don't connect with fans of fantasy (but it doesn't mean that those who appreciate this book are). Instead of having a nice game of Risiko or Scrabble, they come up with these f***ing role-playing games... I-am-the-mage-who-rides-the-horse-a nd-jumps-over-the-bad-wolf's-stream -. Ugh! If I have to read about languages... I'd rather go for a Canetti or a Chomsky or maybe a De Saussure... Martina Grande, I support you...!
