A thanks to supersoul for the link, and odradek for the record. I'll let you know. I'm going to read Mike76's review.

supersoul, I don't know Joseph K. A "mix" of The Sound, Joy Division, and Echo?

This time I have to tear you apart. I haven't read the book, nor do I need to in order to say that it’s worth less than a roll of (dirty) toilet paper, which I must admit has even historical and encyclopedic utility when compared to this publication. Fishman, the “fortune” of figures like Hitler and Mussolini was the tacit support and consent of the ruling class (with subtle and sly complicity from other European and international powers) that historically needed them to use them as tools of repression and control against the socialist movements that were emerging all over Europe after the Soviet revolution. That said, “Revolution is not a banquet, it is not an essay, it is not a painting or embroidery, it cannot be done with so much elegance, serenity, and delicacy, with so much grace and courtesy; revolution is an act of violence.” I await the publication of “THE BLACK ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CAPITALISM,” perhaps released by Mondadori in installments (at least 9000 volumes). I agree, all things considered, with El minchia's comment (n. 37).

I know what you're talking about, because Napoli put me through all kinds of emotions in the nineties. Ups and downs. Both on the field, in terms of results, and off the field due to the infamous "judicial" issues that ultimately culminated in the bankruptcy of the club. Anyway, West Ham isn't doing too badly: a comfortable salvation seems to be within reach.

I would like to add that, aside from purely "technical" evaluations, I have always found Borland to be a valuable guitarist with good insights.

Clearly, your opinion is welcome (this regarding the "review"). About the Sound, I agree with supersoul when he says they deserve a reevaluation, and I reiterate that, as far as I'm concerned, they certainly were not a step down from Joy Division and Echo & (but it's true that perhaps they are the ideal meeting point and compromise). "Jeopardy" might have more freshness than "From the Lions Mouth," but I find both albums quite enjoyable.

The goblins impressed me as well, back in the day. This is what partially saves the film (which I also own on VHS). This, however, is not Bowie, but his clone (at least I hope).

Forget about West Ham, captain...

A disc by a Ciampi that could perhaps be defined as "French," at least in its sounds. Because as far as the lyrics are concerned, he is already an author with a personal style that is, in its own way, inimitable. It’s an album I would recommend to anyone. A beautiful review, perfectly executed.
