Regarding comment 46, I would like to add a detail: I like the Chinese. No more, no less than the Italians and everyone else, of course (well, the Argentinians are in a league of their own... but if you don't agree with me, then you've never seen Maradona play). I would love to see the angry fifty-year-old from Prato fighting alongside the underpaid Chinese workers who are just as furious. For me, "localism" is not the right path. But let's get back to you, Moreno. I would have given you five just for the idea, and clearly this de-review can easily stand among the ocular ones as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, I really liked it, and I fully understand what you mean when you talk about the "boycott" of the Chinese government and institutions. However, I must say that unfortunately, I don't believe this is something our governments and institutions can do: the man, the worker, must regain the center and fight for his rights. There's no other way to truly change things. I have faith in our Chinese friends, as I find it impossible for a situation like that not to explode soon (even if I have doubts that any action could lead to something better than our Western "democracies"). Regarding colonialism, it must be said that it's not enough to "liberate" a country to help it. I think of Italy and what the American army did in Sicily and our south by handing over power and institutions into the hands of the mafia and camorra. One to the film, as I have already told you in the past, I have never liked compilations.

However, Alessio (comment 28), it’s true that what’s done is done and there’s no going back, but isn’t it at least utopian to think that we could soon eliminate this sick system that has been constructed? – which, in the case of Prato, the "striking" thing (quotes because we should no longer be surprised by anything) is that quite a few of these Chinese companies exist for the state, they even have recognizable owners. They’ve stretched the rope too thin. There’s no genuine political will to combat illegality. I would like the fifty-year-old worker in Prato to get pissed off like a fifty-year-old worker in a damn capitalist country should and decide to fight for his rights against those who have truly screwed him over and continue to do so. Because up there, they don’t care, and all of this suits them just fine. From both sides, since the leader of the Italian "left" is a little cleric who just mimics the clothing and look of Bill Gates. Now I’m finally going to read the review.

Dearest Jimmy and Moreno, I see that after more than ten years you’re still at it. And if Ferlaino hadn’t gotten rid of the legendary Gigi Simoni, you wouldn’t have won that final! Anyway, that Vicenza team was truly a great squad. Ironically, some of the protagonists of that historic run ended up in Naples, where they had little luck - but, mind you, it’s no coincidence... Naples is a tough place even for those who just need to kick a ball. Murgita showed up saying "I'm not a striker" and indeed barely managed to score a couple of goals, Lopez was hard to watch, and Mondini had just enough time to get schooled by Edmundo before, wisely, moving on. Hi vortex, of course Paolo Sollier and Vendrame are two characters that differ from the average of other players - both from that time and especially today - but even among themselves. Sollier’s book, however, the first one (as he recently published a new one that I haven't had the chance to read yet), definitely offers a lot of interesting discussion points: a must-read. I look forward to your review.

Alessio, I largely understand your speech about the Chinese. But let’s be clear, the illegal factories run by the Chinese in Prato - just like in Naples - exist because someone is making money from them: you land the contract, get paid a set amount per piece, and have the dirty work done by the Chinese who, after all, are poor wretches and work for little to nothing. It’s a game that works - or at least used to. The industrialists of Prato, who are now in tears and appearing on the usual television shows claiming to be desperate about having to lay off their workers, are responsible and guilty. In Prato, newspapers have been published with pages in Chinese for years; this phenomenon has been going on for years (not just in Prato, I repeat): where were these people, these "entrepreneurs"? Didn’t they know anything? Who taught these Chinese the "trade"? I haven’t even read the review, sorry Moreno, I’ll make up for it tonight!

This is a really great review, worthy of such a grand album (one of the best from the early nineties, not just in Italy). I've always had a soft spot for Clementi's writing, and I like the comparison to the god Carver made by vortex. Regarding the production of the good Faust'o, I recall reading somewhere that Fausto wasn't very happy with how things went (I even remember that at one point he didn't follow the production anymore). Maybe I'm misremembering. Blech, refresh my memory, if you can. May Iside assist us!

This is certainly one of those measures that will allow the country to exit the crisis - and enter the morgue. Anyway, I wonder: I, who live boxed in an apartment in a boxed condominium where the residents don't even have the decency to take care of their necessities in the bathrooms, or the corners, of their homes, in a boxed neighborhood where decrepit buildings collapsed from the recent earthquake (read: 1980) while construction work (illegal) is happening all around with everyone's complacency, how do I play my 20%? It will be good to invest in 20% of an apartment abroad. Anyway, thrilled about the de-review, and the de-law decree, I’m off to look for that little disc, since it might be useful against the thugs I mentioned earlier and their neomelodic antics. You’ll soon hear from me.

By the way, I also don't know which team Vendrame's red and white facial features refer to. I would say Vicenza, since that's where he played at his highest level. But who knows. Anyway, the captain's observation is correct (to whom I ask for information about Savoini): Vendrame was a wandering player, a drifter, a free spirit. I think few players have changed so many teams at that level during those years.
