Giant Sand Is All Over The Map

I greet and thank everyone. Furthermore, to properly pay tribute to you, here are the responses to your questions, even the ones that aren't. And a few samples. voodomiles, truth be told (yes, indeed!) I have never been to the Mojave. And that makes me very sad. However, I carry a piece of the desert within me anyway. It's a state of mind. The discussion could go deeper, but maybe you already know what I'm talking about (I don't, but that's fine). imasoulman, I agree with you. In a better world, Howe would receive more glory and attention. Dearest sfasciatannhauser, despite bees, wasps, and gentlemen, I am still a football fan. I haven't read "Nel fango del Dio Pallone," but I'm quite curious about Carlo Petrini. Also, just recently, I was recommended the rather interesting little movie "Centravanti nato" (a work by Gian Claudio Guiducci in collaboration with our very own). I'll get both soon, and I hope to have news for you. By the way, I love digressions. Digressing is better than transgressing. Gambissima Kosmo, among other things, Scout is beautiful. Far better than Berlusconi’s ladies... Punitore, certainly Howe is not a fierce innovator. However, I don’t find Giant Sand repetitive. Giubbo, yeah!

Four and a half - four. Better than a lot (a lot) of other things. But it's not the best by Bennato.

That said, while "The Hunter" is in a different category, I generally agree with those who liken this beautiful film (okay, probably a better actor than Charliedueuominiemezzosheen could have been found) to a masterpiece, perhaps more pyrotechnic and hallucinatory—but certainly of equal beauty—like Apocalypse Now. Stone's approach to the subject is surely different from Coppola's, but the outcome doesn't seem inferior to me. Full Metal Jacket, spectacular in the first part, at times even superfluous in the second, is a step below both. MASH (a masterpiece, but Altman is a guarantee, and probably the greatest American director) is out of competition: it is set during the Korean War.

In the long run, I prefer it to London Calling. Or maybe not. I don't know.

Fifa disappointed expectations every year. I never managed to play this game decently (maybe just Fifa '94), but it wasn't solely my fault. I remember this edition well, and with partial affection, but it wasn't well executed either. Hats off to Giacomo Bulgarelli, especially, and Massimo Caputi. But those commentaries were the beginning of the end.

I've seen worse. But this film is worth two stars. The comparison with the mammoth Vampires by the great master John Carpenter is almost inevitable. And in this comparison, "From Dusk Till Dawn" comes out quite poorly. Among other things, James Woods, unlike Mr. Canalis (although it’s true that this is perhaps one of his best performances...), is a real vampire killer. Charming.
