Queen + Paul Rodgers The Cosmos Rocks
Voto:
The real Queen were a great band, able to blend pop and hard rock like few others. I also appreciate all their LIVE performances, which I find really well-played and very engaging. As far as I'm concerned, if a band proves its worth live, then it deserves respect because it’s on stage that a real band must show it has what it takes, beyond the more or less beautiful studio albums. I think they made some good records, almost all of those from the '70s, and also A KIND OF MAGIC and especially INNUENDO, which in my opinion is the best. But this stuff here is a whole different story; they are not Queen, they use that name just to sell a few more records. Aside from the absence of Freddie, the historic bassist is also missing. If he had been there too, maybe it could have been tolerated, but as it is, no, it doesn't make sense. And then it seems the album isn't having much success, the American tour has been suspended, and there are rumors going around that the project might come to an end soon. Apparently, aside from a few nostalgics, this hybrid reunion hasn't been accepted by old fans, and it hasn't attracted any new ones.

LET THERE BE ROCK, IF YOU WANT BLOOD YOU'VE GOT IT, HIGHWAY TO HELL, and BACK IN BLACK combined create the best HARD ROCK anthology imaginable. And it would probably suffice to have these 4 albums to call yourself a ROCKETTARO D.O.C.. No doubt about it!

x WILDTHING, ANTONIODESTE and UNOQUALUNQUE. Your comments are totally respectable and, from a certain point of view, I agree with you. Obviously, mine is just a suggestion, as I think it might interest you as a product. I know plenty of posthumous rubbish from Hendrix, and indeed many of them make you want to despise them all, but I believe this is a valid product, especially for the concert on the second CD. O and don’t threaten me with those siruli because I care about my ass :-). Anyway, I said the audio is good, just a bit weak. Regarding HOTRATS, Hendrix was the son of a Cheyenne mother and an African American father, hence the term "meticcio," which I don't find offensive, and as far as I know, the concert in San Diego in '69 is not at all the same old stuff. If the fact that it's cheap is a problem for you, don't worry about it; us poor folks don’t mind it at all :-)

Maybe I didn't understand much, but defamation would be the fact that ICNARF said that you are one person, but you use two different nicknames and, so to speak, play two different characters? Is this the defamation? As I see it, if no one mentioned your first and last name, no one has defamed you. The very basis of defamation is "naming" someone by first and last name. Otherwise, at most it can be called slander! Sorry, don't take offense, I don't want to get into your business, but just leave them be, okay? They're kids, they have fun that way. You have a life outside of Debaser, right? So why do you care? Let them talk, what matters are the facts, not the bullshit written on a website. I also got angry at first, then I realized it's really not worth it. The solution is super simple, don't think about it!

But frontal attacks of what, excuse me? Why do you call yourself ELECTRICONE as a last name? Come on, this nonsense is unbearable; someone who calls the postal police because they've offended his nickname! Excuse me, but if one day someone out there in the open tells you to f*** off, what will you do, call the paratroopers? Come on, these things are just too much! Oh my goodness, how am I doing!

X starblazer - oh really? Why do you listen to the records before reviewing them? From reading your reviews, it seemed like you didn’t. I must have been mistaken..

ERRATA CORRIGE: yes, I'm sorry, but I made a mistake in saying that it was the last concert ever with Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding; the last one was about a month later. Please forgive the inaccuracy.
I also wanted to add that I wrote the review to highlight the product and to remember the last of the Experience trio who has passed away, Mitch Mitchell.
