Nice review. But I don't watch these things because they're stuff for filthy people, that's it. :-D

I would love to chime in on this slide-conversation, but even though I've been playing (well, I should say I've been playing like a dog with its tail on fire lately) for almost 15 years now, I've never actually dealt with slide technique, apart from the normal sliding you do with your fingers. I grew up on bread and AC/DC, with a side of Deep Purple, and the first time I saw a bottleneck I thought it was some kind of damn prosthesis. I thought, "Wow, good for him, he sounds great even with a fake finger!" The funny thing is, I said it out loud, and the guy next to me said, "What fake finger? That’s called a pick!"

extraordinary band Cream. Undoubtedly very important. They would also be among my favorites if it weren't for the fact that I can't stand Jack Bruce's voice.

uh, well, this review is really coming back to life despite its age. Just for that, it deserves a 5. Anyway, Puntinicazpuntini is like that, they have their own ideas and they express them without too many problems, sometimes overdoing it a bit, but at least they're consistent. I'm not crazy about punk, but I'm not a fan of progressive either. However, I believe that punk had its good reasons to exist, in fact, I think it was really a response to a certain rock music that around the mid-'70s started to become excessively verbose with endless suites, adornments, frills and jests, which were beautiful, difficult to play, but often also damn tedious, especially for new generations. In the end, I think that those who want to listen to some good rock don’t choose four stoners screaming into the microphone, but neither do they want five snobby conservatory types whose sole purpose is to show off how good they are.

I agree, Cravan. Clearly, with that final question of mine, I didn't mean to undermine the great genius that Stevie Ray Vaughan was. As for Clapton, he's great, but perhaps the famous phrase written on the wall "Clapton is God" would have been more fitting for someone else. And then who the heck wrote that phrase? Go check if it was Clapton himself.

Yes, in the end you're right (!), it's just that sometimes one wonders what the causes might be, that's all. Anyway, Edged in Blue, a link:
