motivations? come on, you're just someone who enjoys messing with people, that's all. Besides calling someone a jerk or an idiot, you can't do any better. Your comments prove it completely.

you're off the mark: I am actually the complete opposite of what you claim. I've never asked for anything, and in fact I even admitted that I really messed up with that comparison. I'm not angry with those who point it out to me, but with those who pass judgment without justification: does calling someone an imbecile seem like a comment from an intelligent person to you?

So if someone knows nothing about guitar, they shouldn’t listen to anything; it’s better to turn to classical music, but even there I don’t know anything about violins and harpsichords... I don’t know.

Tell me why I wouldn't understand: is the problem all in that comparison or not? Is this what torments you?

Look, I dedicated that link to you with all my heart. Now listen to me: "the exception proves the rule," meaning that you never check my links. Make sure to be the exception now that I'm sharing it again, okay?

"Believe me, it makes no sense to lump Beck, Page, Malmsteen, and Vai together; at that point, you might as well compare them to Holdsworth, Montgomery, and Martino." A comment like that would have been well received in the review of Beck, and believe me, I would have agreed with what you say: that comparison was unfortunate, and I realize that, but I wrote it on the spur of the moment and didn’t think much about it (the result was writing something foolish, but so be it). However, I repeat one last thing: is it necessary to insinuate certain things? I’ve definitely listened to the album, and you can’t come and say, "you know nothing about it."

But did you see the link I dedicated to you?

I really liked guitar shop: I know it’s a silly comparison, but when I’m accused of not having listened to it, I just don’t get it. I mean, does one have to review an album with prior knowledge of ALL the artist’s previous or subsequent works? Do they need to know every detail of their history? I don’t think so. I’m just an ordinary person who listens to the music I like without overthinking it and without feeling like a defender of Beck and blues (any reference to "c'è" is purely coincidental); I don’t act superior and I don’t go around preaching like some others (and I’m speaking generally this time) who roam the site always ready to share the "undisputed truth." I repeat, if I like an album, I review it without worrying too much about thinking ā€œoh my god, should I write certain things? Will it seem silly? Will other users like it? Oh my god...ā€: if I thought that way, I wouldn’t waste time on Debaser and would instead go work as a journalist for Corriere della Sera, don’t you think?

"Malmsteen holds back by playing his 10,000 notes only in the solos which, to be honest, fit perfectly in the songs." And what do you think, dreamwarrior, isn't doing this non-stop for more than 20 years a bit of showiness?
