Hi Loconweed, Mallu is too light for me, even though I haven't tasted it. I quite like pitanga though, and in the garden of my previous home it was abundant, and besides enjoying it straight, it's nice to put them in a jar and drown them in cachaça.

When I was a kid and saw an adult, I saw an adult. Today, when I look at an adult from my generation, I see a bimbominkia. This year, I went back to Italy for a few days, and the strongest thing I took away with me was a phrase from a friend of mine: we are a generation that never grew up. I realized then that it wasn't just my impression; there is a very deep generational gap. Luckily, I was born too late for the "regina" and too early to be a bimbominkia (maybe).
