Your comments bring me a lot of joy; I was really hoping for a high-level discussion on Deb. @omhaceleb: perhaps more than dogmas (as explained by Psicro), they are theories. I would be grateful if you could elucidate the concept of the vanity of matter for me; nevertheless, your comment was nice. @Psicro: on the other hand, not all science is experimentally proven; there are many theories that are accepted because they seem to work in certain situations. Quantum physics and relativity take us into a realm where objective reality is no longer such. This book by Vinge interests me a lot; I will look for it. What you wrote in comment 7 gave me goosebumps because they are the same foundations of my 'new' religion called Spiritism. @Giona: it is undoubtedly an essay, and I gave it three stars because Capra doesn't have that wonderfully genius literary style, and also because the last part is a bit boring when he explains the matrix S theory and the processes of androns and protons, etc., etc. In conclusion, I wanted to say that it would be nice if they taught these things in schools; they would greatly aid our development, but unfortunately, the educational system is tailored to the capitalist world.

I have read two theories instead; one suggests that the explosion occurred a few kilometers above the ground, which is why there is no crater, and the other is that the crater has turned into a lake that didn't exist before. The ET hypothesis should not be ruled out either.

@Geeno, we have never been receptive, but our world is evolving, and one day we will all be. We are small and limited because we live our bodily phase in the so-called "medium size zone," but one day all of us will break free from this "physical cage" and this tyrant "linear time."

@Psicroptic, this book is 70% about physics, explaining among other things how a particle can also be a wave packet, the probabilities in the subatomic world, interactions, how the observer is an integral part of the experiments, space-time, the fact that we can no longer separate objects for study because they are integral parts of the whole, all the way down to quarks, the "S" matrix, and "bootstrap." It just isn't updated further (see string theory) because it was written in '75. Capra is indeed primarily a physicist who has succeeded in this book in converging physics with other branches of human knowledge. So I think reading it shouldn't cause you allergic reactions.

If they sang in Italian, I would even take the trouble to listen to them!
