@OMAHACELEB: in the end, I remain confined to ideals while what we need are immediate solutions, and I fully agree with you on that. What really pisses me off is that they dump all responsibilities on us while the packaging problem should be solved by the producers. If I want to buy milk, I have to get it in tetrapak, but I would prefer it in glass; the issue is that it’s not available, they don’t give me any choice. However, this remains a secondary problem because, as you know, urban waste is just a small percentage of the total. I have already worked as a waste management supervisor in a galvanizing plant, nothing complicated, (tons of spent hydrochloric acid with zinc percentages) and it’s just a matter of contacting a waste management or recovery company, (the one with the lowest price, of course), filling out the form, and handing over the waste. Then every year, you fill out and submit the MUD, and you’re in the clear. Much simpler than getting annoyed every day with sorting waste. I'm referring to Italy, of course, because here in Brazil it's a whole different story.

@Ludo: you really understand me. A big kiss! @Piccolo: come on! It's been twenty years, I've listened to enough jazz already (anyway, I don’t know these folks). Bye! @Antonio: I didn't expect that from you!

There's a nice video called "The Story of Stuff." Have you seen it already? Maybe we could review it!

Beyond all considerations, there is a problem, namely THE PROBLEM: human production processes are linear while nature operates cyclically, so it requires a radical change of paradigms. This is the only solution, and it is this more than anything else that politicians should focus on, because if tomorrow, China, India, Brazil, etc., reach levels of consumption like the United States, we are all screwed.

In my opinion, contemporary art has completely detached itself from the concept of beauty, shifting towards innovation. Stockhausen was an innovator (from what little I know) also for having conceived the recording studio as an integral part of music and recordings, almost as if it were a musical instrument, right?

When I approached these types of music that Giovanni is passionate about, I immediately realized that the same concepts or ideas in the world of visual arts are much more appreciated and valued. Perhaps because music is reproducible while an installation is a standalone thing. It's similar to the difference between listening to this CD and being directly involved in this type of experience. It would be like comparing the CD to a catalog of an exhibition, which is very different from seeing the works live.

@Alessioiride: thank you for the clarification. @Easycure: it was not my intention to reach this misunderstanding. I just wanted to emphasize that dozens of books and movies have been dedicated to the horrors of Nazism, while the same space has not been devoted to the communist atrocities.

Unfortunately, Brusko is right; I did not achieve my goal. Almost all the comments demonstrate this. I only wanted to spark a constructive debate about my final considerations, especially since on Deb, people often clash over a music review with political attributes. I failed because the quotes are too strong and biased, thus distracting attention from what I had set out to do. To avoid misunderstandings, I would like to say that I have no sympathy for the right; I took this book from my parents' house, where they are Catholics and supporters of Berlusconi, perpetually (but peacefully) in conflict with my political and religious ideas. Normally, in the political sphere, I prefer to read Chomsky. Hello everyone and thanks for the intelligent comments!

@Liciafeet: I was waiting for your comment, as always polite and very knowledgeable. Congratulations!

Interesting observation, it's important to grasp the more spiritual and luminous aspects of a culture that has been deemed the enemy of our civilization.
