This is just for enthusiasts! Hi, Jargon!

Anyway, I love you all, yes, yes! Even you who are reading this!

The untruthful referred solely to the comment on fascism. I may be more ignorant than you, but I only remember the Matteotti murder, and when I think of the fascist squads, the manganello and castor oil immediately come to mind. Then in war, killing is absolutely normal. However, when I think of Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, or Mao, much worse things come to mind. I admit, I am not as well-versed as you in fascist history, probably because I despise that period and therefore it doesn't interest me; whereas having had sympathies for communist ideals, I've approached this book with curiosity and courage. When my father bought it, he never read it, but he threw it in my face saying, "Look at what your communist friends have done," and I read it like I read other books that help me understand better the world we live in. I don’t care about alignments; today they are red herrings, I've said it before and I repeat it. However, it seems impossible to eradicate them from our mindset. The real struggle today must be carried out by us with everyday politics, against this capitalist world governed by the madness of economists and the multinational monsters, and to do so we don't need red flags. I promise you I will return to discuss politics again, but not for controversy or provocation, rather to try to look ahead. Is another world possible?

@Rebelde: What a drag, still with the data. I included it as a simplification of a discussion regarding when crimes committed by communists were publicized much less than those committed by capitalists. And then, regarding China, maybe it would be better to be killed than to humiliate oneself in forced re-education to renounce one's ideals.

@Antonio, so... what do you rate this review a 5?

@WORLD SBK FAN: your comment is very sad.

@Psichopompe: of course it’s a mountain of rhetoric, and that’s exactly what I wanted to do, but where I went wrong was in the comparisons and in presenting some anecdotes that were deliberately biased or even untrue. Nevertheless, you cannot convince me that the information presented in this book is false. “…one can be a communist and not agree with the application of communism…” well! The ideological question is quite complicated; perhaps it is possible! Just as there are Catholics who do not endorse the Inquisition. But at least having the conscience to admit that it went that way, that’s something!

Unfortunately, you haven't managed to convince or intrigue me; maybe next time.

"It’s clear that he is no longer the politically engaged teenager..." I must have missed that phase...
