Dear Omaha, why not start with a trip? What do you recommend about P.P.P.? I only have "La nuova gioventú," a collection of poems in Friulian, a gift from a dear friend of mine. Maybe you could do me a favor and bring me one of his books. Tchau!

Bah!, there isn't a specific genre; if you want, we can refer to "Cidade de Deus" or "Onibus 174." Anyway, Brazilian national cinema is pretty disappointing; I think the Argentine scene is much better.

He, mentioned numerous times, must have been of great influence for many musicians I know. The best introduction to this composer? Acc. Could you recommend something more lively? Good review, DeGiovanniAbus!

Honestly, I don't know the doctrine of Jehovah's Witnesses. I would appreciate it if you could address me informally, please. Thank you for your kindness, and I wish you much happiness, in tolerance and charity. Goodbye!

@Signoprog: continuing the conversation cut short by Hurricane Katharsys, I would like to take the liberty of saying that despite your assertion: ",the choice to live for GOD was exclusively mine after reading the Bible, no parrot lessons, spontaneous choice," you are closing yourself in dogmas and risk that your faith may lead you to extremism. I always have the impression that Protestants (I generalize) only accept those precepts that interest them. I do not agree at all that Jesus and God are the same thing; I believe that Jesus is a highly evolved spirit (call him an angel) who incarnated to reveal things that mankind has not fully understood, due to the fault of religious institutions. I respect your faith, but do not close your mind and soul; try to be more open, also read the apocryphal gospels, where you will find interesting points for reflection. Bye!

Well done, Stoney, your comment is very well written, balanced, and impartial. Only with tolerance and respect can we communicate in a constructive way!

"GOD SENT HIS ONLY SON," we are all children of God. "SO THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE," we all live eternally (not materially) regardless of Christ. "JESUS WILL RETURN AND JUDGE MEN," it was he who taught: "do not judge if you do not want to be judged." "FOR JUST AS THROUGH ONE MAN SIN AND DEATH ENTERED INTO OUR LIVES," I didn't understand this one either. "SO GOD LOVED US SO MUCH THAT HE REDEEMED US FROM DEATH THROUGH THE SACRIFICE OF HIS SON," I don't get this one either! I am Christian, but I will never say that the truth lies solely in him. Yes, I often debate this point with evangelicals who say this, without respecting other religions in the world and even those who do not believe. Bye!

It's truly interesting to discover that Katharsys is a Baptist; this explains many aspects of him that I couldn't grasp. Here in Brazil, there are plenty of Protestant churches, but in Italy, I had never met anyone. So it's a discussion between atheists and Baptists, between two extreme poles. I am a spiritualist, and I just wanted to emphasize that, in the end, our religious affiliation doesn't really matter, nor does what we believe or not—what's important is to strive to understand and love in the broadest sense of the term. It seems to me that above all, no one can deny that the essence of the Christic message, which is the fulfillment of the most important commandment, is without foundation, because if humanity truly had cared more, our world would not be so morally backward, regardless of beliefs, sciences, religions, philosophies, etc. etc. I may seem banal or romantic, but this is the true essence!
