The review is well done, but I can’t share your enthusiasm. The compositions themselves are weak, the arrangements are bare, and there’s very little left. I can still hear the Belew writing style, and it bothers me a bit knowing that Fripp has restarted with the KC, constantly renewing them (but then again it’s “just” a projekct). The last thing is the voice, which overall doesn’t seem that engaging to me; surely with a David Sylvian (name just picked randomly) it would have been something else. Bye!
