The problem I have with so-called avant-garde music is that to be avant-garde, it must be full of clichés. Which is a paradox as big as a mountain. The only ones I’ve heard who transcend this limit are the Satanique Samba Trio.

After listening to Invisible Monster, I wondered if it's the prog metal that's awful or if it's them... well, it's the latter I said.

But the fake-phobia would be an interesting phenomenon to study. This paranoia that behind a nickname there might be someone who is not who they pretend to be.
