Maybe "too extreme" at the beginning, but it fits within the context and the atmosphere. I've only heard them mentioned, but I've never seriously listened to anything... I don't know, I'll give it a try :-) PS: small typo towards the end: "estati" instead of "estasi," nothing major ;-) Bye!

I agree with GABBOX, "James and the Giant Peach" is very well made and the story is enjoyable :-)

Unfortunately, it disappointed me a bit. Yes, it’s well made; the settings, the colors, and the atmospheres are worthy of the name Tim Burton, but it doesn’t quite succeed entirely. Unfortunately, the dark aura is not everything; something more solid is needed underneath. Still, it's enjoyable. Of course, it is soundly beaten by its "brother" Nightmare Before Christmas, an unattainable masterpiece that always makes me dream.

Damn, I just saw it now, looking through the recent reviews in your list... forgive me. Very beautiful, unique, "experimental," but above all felt. In the moment of the protagonist's identification with Nature, you remind me a bit of D'Annunzio in "La pioggia nel pineto" :-)

@HELL: Ah ah ah! XD Yes, it's practically impossible to find further information about them; there are only a few faint traces online :) PS: thank you for the holiday wishes in your last review, I return the favor...HAPPY HOLIDAYS! ;-)

@Alì: sure, no problem :) Listening to something on the fly, though, I noticed more death influences than doom. But I listened very roughly, so I need to dedicate more time to it. Bye!

@kemosabe: thank you for the clarifications. I want to specify that I don't stick to a particular type of metal (or its neighbors); I enjoy different things (even outside of metal). Generally, I like the "extreme," but then I have to see if it bores me or if it gives me something (the fury of Behemoth gives me a lot :D). I may not be well-versed in sludge and grind, but I don't set up barricades of that kind.

Well, I don't just listen to that; you asked me what kind of DOOM I prefer... for example, I really like Behemoth (in terms of heaviness), Meshuggah (in terms of musical madness), and more, so it’s not necessarily true that I wouldn’t like it. By the way: I’ve heard a little bit, too little to make a judgment, but they seem interesting. I need to explore more…

I didn't really like the review, especially when you talk more specifically about the album in question. Contributing to this are some oversights (that "in a remote part of the World" at the beginning, where I assume "island" is missing), repetitions ("disco" repeated too many times in the penultimate paragraph), and some solutions used that don't convince me... I round up to 3. I don't know them, I prefer doom that is less classic and influenced by death and gothic. Bye!
