Good reviews. I don't know them, but you've piqued my curiosity. The concept is interesting (at least original) and the cover is fascinating... I will take care of it! :D

Wepa! I found your review by chance :D Very beautiful, really well written. I read the story about 3 years ago and I liked it a lot. I have it in a volume titled "Storie di vampiri" (what creativity...) where many stories about the vampire myth are collected, from the origins ("Il Vampiro" by Polidori & co.) up to the end of the twentieth century. Unfortunately, I've only read a small part so far. But… situ dea provincia de Treviso?!?!? XD

I started reading it a couple of years ago, but I put it down to focus on other things. I’ll finish it sooner or later. :D I haven’t read the last sentence; I don’t want to spoil the ending! ;-)

I just finished it yesterday, so I’m back to rate the book. I have to say that at first, it didn’t look promising, but then I changed my mind. The first part is undoubtedly less engaging than the second (which is beautiful). I really enjoyed the discussion on the Infinite Possible Dimensions and the episodes of Lineland, Spaceland, and Pointland. A recommended book (though not for everyone...). Well, now I’m going back to reading something by Lovecraft :D bye!

I listened to/saw something on YouTube, but from your review I expected something different, something more "glacial," indeed, and spectral. To be honest, I wasn't very impressed... :( Maybe I should have weighed more heavily that "modern melodic death" ;-)

Not bad... I've never heard anything about them, but the description you give of the sounds really intrigues me! :D

Ficus! I'm reading it right now! I've heard about it since the first year of high school, but I've never had the chance to read it. Then I stumbled upon it by chance in a bookstore in Padua...and finally I'm reading it! The review is nice, but there are some typos.

I’m back on the page after a couple of days' absence. I have to say I see no constructive reason to continue the discussion. Metal is vast and varied, so keep on disdaining its attitude and "scenic" surroundings (even so, regarding the review you mentioned, I also find brutal covers abhorrent; as for pure heavy metal, I'm not a fan either, along with power metal - which I listened to a few years ago but eventually got tired of, although I remain emotionally attached to those albums and artists I used to appreciate). About the "metal that sells a lot," that's a small part of this reality, often the least authentic. I'm sorry, but I find it exhausting to carry on a discussion that I know won't lead anywhere. Moreover, I have other things to do. Regards and happy holidays to everyone!

Beautiful! Just a tiny note: "I thought that YOU were watching," at the beginning. ;-) I don't know her, but you piqued my curiosity a lot... I'll take care of it. Bye!

Dear Yosif, I notice that you have updated your personal profile to clearly state what you listen to and what you don't. Allow me a few small observations: among your listens, you include gothic and symphonic metal. Okay. Among your non-listens, you put metal (generic). ?! Clarifications, please. Then in the non-listens, you also include death and black. I see that in your favorite reviews, you mention that of Darzamat (Transkarpatia), to which you gave a 5. Good, but in that album, there are traces of black or at least extreme metal (far from defining it as a true black metal album). ?! Clarifications here too. Another question: who’s being inconsistent now? You bash metalheads and then you listen to some metal yourself! Come on! I don’t want to start fights over these things with anyone; the problems in life are so many that it would be foolish to get into arguments even online, but I just want to say that the criticisms, clichés, and judgments you emit are out of place. I suggest we put this behind us and go our separate ways. Regards. PS: among the genres you listen to, there's also part of what I listen to, so what the hell are you coming to tell me ā€œclose-mindedā€?! Alright, enough, bye...
