Good review, I missed it when it came out. I just discovered these today while searching for some depressive rock to lift my spirits up :) I wanted to start with "Erotik" - which, as I understand, is the least black - and then try this one. By now, there’s depressive black everywhere; these seem like something different. Now I’m making a desperate plea: does anyone know an album/artist similar to DISCOURAGED ONES by Katatonia?! I’m looking for something that approaches the unsettling depression I find in that album, but I can’t find anything! :|

So... the actual rating would be a 4.5, but for some reasons I didn't round it up. @Kosmo: this is the first review I'm "afraid" to send because it's rather special, I don't even know if it can be called a review XD But it came to me this way. I associate this album with a particular moment; I felt the need to try to describe that moment while keeping a vaguely hermetic veil. And if the Debaserians don't like it, it doesn't matter, as long as I've given the impulse to listen to the album :) Thanks for stopping by.

Of those I’ve listened to, this is my favorite. Aside from the last two tracks, the rest is a 5 for me. The first time I listened to it, it was a truly new and unforgettable experience.
