"Life is already sad as it is, and at 19 you can't think of writing this way"; the best things always arise from the darkest side (music, LETTERATURA, etc.). And those who don’t go through this rite of passage cannot understand it. And fortunately, you haven't listened to truly sad things...

I had missed this review; the good Hell recommended it to me. I still need to listen to it properly, to be honest, but it seems like a good album. His persona is truly... curious and fascinating. Strange, evocative voice. I promise to dedicate the time it deserves to it. Great review.

@CannibalSoul: ? Aside from the small hints of basic linguistics regarding gemination, the rest is elementary grammar, you know...

@CannibalSoul: 1) ANCH'IO, not anchio; it's a phenomenon called elision, whereby the final vowel of a word drops if the following word begins with a vowel. 2) PIACCIONO, not piaciono; it's a phenomenon called gemination, where the sound has a duration double compared to the 'normal' and this is reflected graphically (even if not always, to be honest). Here, the "c" in question is an affricate phoneme, formed by an occlusive and a fricative, thus the gemination is simply due to a longer pause of the occlusive before the fricative. In Italian, consonantal gemination is distinctive, while in French or English, for example, it is not. In Finnish, vocalic gemination is distinctive. :)

Here in Veneto, there used to be a belief in the existence of a little spirit that at night, if you weren't a good child, would come to take you away by pulling you from your bed by your feet :) But I don't remember well, not even the name of this "entity"; it's something that's not been talked about for a long time now... What a shame, I think it's important to pass down these folk beliefs too (even if they are "scary" ^_^)

I couldn't live through the '80s (just the last 9 months of 1989 :D), but it always gives me a nice feeling to read memories of the past like this ;) @Jurix: it feels really strange to read comments in dialect here! XD

I don't know the film, let alone the video game (I didn't grow up on bread and video games, never even had a Play Station...). "Ju-On" 1 and 2 are really great films, infinitely better than those American "horrors" of today...
