I'm not a fan of Samael, I listen to them occasionally... but this is really an amazing album! "Passage" was my soundtrack last year while I was writing my thesis for graduation :)

Beautiful review, stunning album. In the new album coming out in September, there will be tracks where Raymond is doing the growl again! :D I heard some samples on the official website... from what I can hear, it sounds like a mix between "Storm" and the old glorious period. I hope it turns out to be at least an interesting album; a return to the glories of TOT and VDTF seems impossible to me.

"help me to understand" & "I don't understand"... Are this lady and Erzacchiu the same fake?

Great review. Are the references to the two bands you mention at the end possibly due to the first scathing review that came out not long ago? :D Anyway, I agree with you; it's inappropriate to compare them with that kind of death metal, for me it's something that goes beyond. Behemoth have earned the success they've achieved so far. Well done! A really, really good album. I wouldn't know how to identify a true high point...maybe "Shemhamforash" (killer! :D) and "Transmigrating Beyond Realms Ov Amenti." @Ale9t0: which album did you listen to?!

Great review as always. The themes related to Kabbalah and esotericism, as I mentioned in the review of "I", really intrigue me, but I'm not sure I could listen to this non-music. I'm used to pretty strange stuff, but I don't think I'm ready for this yet :D Who knows about the future. The reference to the Key of Enoch and John Dee is interesting, but I know little to nothing about it. Until next time!

OT @Alfredo: I agree that certain details were born in a "work in progress," but I think a lot of it was 'premeditated,' let's say. In fact, I read that a detail present even in the first season, which seemed almost trivial, will prove to be important in light of the sixth and final season, suggesting that this was planned from the beginning. Whether that's true, I don't know; we'll see :D However, I agree, it's really hard to follow it now... but that doesn't stop me from being more and more fascinated. We'll see in the end if it turns out to be a big mess or the most brilliant TV show in history :)

Oh, but you’re tough, huh? Don’t you get that it’s a pain in the ass (not done very well, but still a pain it is) :D
