@ALE9T0: yes yes, I agree, in fact in the end I wrote "of course, someone who doesn't know the group wouldn't know that" :)

I'm a bad metalhead: I have never listened to them :P

(PS: among the favorites because of its poetic and "violent" tone... even if it’s not a "review" in the traditional sense of the term, who cares. I add it considering it a "prose poem" :) )

In the end, you sent it, so... As I said, I like it, but - as I told you - I would have kept it for myself. It's true, it can't be called a "review," but the connection to the album is evident: "FRANTUMANDO LA SACRA TRINITA'" and the nightmare/deicide dream. I repeat: it may not be considered a review, but the writing itself appeals to me. @ALE9T0: since there are Deathspell Omega, it's black metal... but of course, someone who doesn't know the band wouldn't know that ;-)

I don't know, I've always been taught that it doesn't go there :) Thanks anyway. I still have to watch REC :(

I agree (I round up to the review). I share the opinion on both the positive and negative aspects. I was really curious to see it; the trailer looked enticing...but then it turned out to be really boring. I saw 'Darkness' years ago; I don't remember well what it's like, so I'll try to watch it again... Uhm, since you're skilled in horror: years ago I watched a thriller/horror about an illegal online reality show where the protagonists were basically killed. I can't remember the title, but I would like to see it again. Do you happen to know what it was? Thanks. PS: no spaces after the apostrophe! There are several in the review...

@Nes: yes, VIVA EMPTINESS and THE GREAT COLD DISTANCE are more metal than DISCOURAGED ONES, TONIGHT'S DECISION, and LAST FAIR DEAL GONE DOWN. - Regarding BRAVE MURDER DAY: I said that I think it's inaccurate to define it as doom death because - for me - it doesn't follow in the footsteps of albums like "Turn Loose The Swans" or "Serenades" for instance... those are doom death. In BRAVE MURDER DAY I do hear some death - mainly the vocals, which are sometimes bastardized with some "screaming" - and some doom, but also something different. A certain grayish, gothic patina (as Taxi said) and a 'depressive' riffing somehow related to doom, yet different. I can't explain it... :D Regarding this album (TD) I wouldn't talk about doom. Sure, there's sadness and a disarming sense of emptiness, but I wouldn't define it that way. I see doom tracks in the post-BMD era in "Distrust" by DO and in "Journey Through Pressure" by TGCD for example. Lastly: I don't understand why someone has to always bring up bands that have nothing to do with the one being discussed, as if they need to prove their superiority. We're talking about other things, damn it! Always retreating to the distant past....

@GustavoTanz: "Gone" is taken from DISCOURAGED ONES. Start with that, you won't regret it ;-) Then move on to the others... and be careful, it might end up like CasaMorta says :D

Yes, indeed! :D Later I found out that it's taken from a movie about King Arthur and Merlin, which is the beginning of a spell and means "breath of the serpent," but it's undeniable that the assonance points to that XD Then I found out that the nickname of the multi-instrumentalist (Irrumator) is related to oral sex (male)! But it's ambiguous, because it can refer to both who receives it and who performs it apparently... erm......... But who cares! As long as they keep going like this! :D
