Well, at the end of the day, the genre is always the same... They're the Offspring, not exactly some big deal XD
But compared to Splinter, this one is nice! Not that it took much, huh XD
Oh well, de gustibus... I like it XD

Come on, you're being a bit too negative... In the end, this album isn't bad at all! Some tracks, like Sky is Over, Empty Walls, Lie Lie Lie, and The Unthinking Majority, are really great; they stick with you, and it's automatic to hum along. Others are a bit less impactful, but overall I think dear Serj did a good job :) Maybe it lacks the typical "bitterness" of SOAD, but for die-hard fans like me, it doesn't matter XD I have to say, Mr. Tankian has an amazing voice... XD

It's a really great album and I like this band.. But the singer is too much of an emo/fake metalhead! XD
Beautiful songs like The Leaving Song, Silver and Cold, and Girl's Not Grey.

I would say we think the same... Great album, much better than that half disaster of Splinter. Just a couple of slips with some "easy" tracks, but overall I would call it a good job. Nice review, maybe because it fully confirmed what I was thinking :)
