I'm not biased, and I give my judgment after listening. Giusy Ferreri is a good imitator of Amy Winehouse and nothing more. The first time I heard her, I thought she was a comedian from Zelig. The songs are completely banal, both in lyrics and music, and incredibly boring, and by the way, some arrangements are shamelessly copied from songs that were popular last year. The fact that it became a platinum record is just indicative of how people today have lost all sense of taste when it comes to music. Most people buy what they see on TV and find no difference between Pink Floyd and the ringtone of the kitten Virgola. As long as it's an uncomplicated little tune that doesn't challenge the mind while I'm doing something else, it's enough. There is no artistic value at all in this record. Even the backing tracks sound like they were made with a Bontempi.

The album may not be overly original, but it is performed and sung divinely.

I remember that at the time the album seemed really ugly to me. Now it seems very beautiful. In fact, back then U2 were ahead of their time. A very forward-thinking album.

Just this week they're playing it on Village on Radio1. The songs they've featured are really beautiful, so I've promised myself to listen to the whole thing.

Why all this hatred towards Mina? Did she steal something from you? But isn't anyone listening to the album and commenting on it instead?

I’ll answer some questions. The album was released in October 2008. The area of Val Seriana where Trovesi was born (and where he still lives) is Nembro. The area of the Valley where the Filarmonica Mousiké is based is Gazzaniga. In any case, we’re talking about the mid Val Seriana. Don’t cover your ears though; Mousiké has many talented musicians.

@Tazzoidecompose: I took two years of harmony but honestly I still think the album sucks, including "L'Orologio degli Dei," which is one of the most boring. You can compose lullabies with just two years of harmony. And if everyone who took two years of harmony were the new Mozarts... Anyway, if Allevi is the new Mozart, then I'm the old Allevi.

Of the whole CD, I only save "Jazzmatic," which at least wakes me up a bit. As for the rest, poor Allevi, his only mistake is selling himself as if he were Mozart. If he admitted to making sleepy new age music from the 4.99 euro bookshelf, he wouldn't even be that annoying.
