Defining Giuliano Ferrara, Paolo Liguori, Fabrizio Cicchitto as "uncomfortable characters" sends a chill down my spine. Uncomfortable perhaps, but as for "characters"... maybe they belong in comic books!

I ADORE them even though I liked this second album less than the first, which I consider a masterpiece of sulfurous Italian doom like we haven't heard in a while! The Blackland are a two-faced band: nothing special on record but extraordinary live! @NICO63: if you like these sensations and atmospheres, try listening to a band that takes its name from the miniseries you mentioned: Il segno del comando. I recommend listening to their self-titled album, even though the subsequent "Der Golem" is also good. Listen to them with confidence; I'm sure you'll fall in love. Guys, the metal scene in Italy is more alive than ever!
