Often, the solo albums of artists who have been part of legendary bands for decades end up being disappointments. This was not the case. Excellent.

Classic easy reading for a relaxing "session" in the restroom. I found it quite entertaining. Rating 3. Rating 1 instead for all those idiots who talked about it on TV as if it were an offense to who knows what. But do you know that novels are fantasy, dear professors?

The album is a 4, and that's just right: the very track you cheerfully quoted a snippet of brings the final rating down by one. Moreover, the upcoming album, "Teatroelementare," will be even better for "In Tormentata Quiete." However, regarding this current album, only the stunning "Nel Regno Dell'Evo" is worth the purchase. My dear Dr. Xabaras, are we the only ones with this album in our collections (or maybe in the entire Peninsula)? How unfortunate... ;)

For me, absolutely a 5, it's extraordinary, out of this world. Well done, there was already another "review" on this album but it was truly awful. Someone had to fill this gap.

Jeff Lynne is an absolute pop genius. A glamorous version of McCartney II. "Discovery" and "Out Of The Blue" are still superior.
