I've read all of Hank's collections. For catastrophic themes and "nihilist power" (which is the master's key to interpretation), I prefer S.D.O.F., but also the notebook where every page is a critique and a heavy sociological essay, from government to hippies to Vietnam and the intellectual currents of the time. I haven't seen Ferreri’s take, but cinematic representations with a script that matches Buk's work seem slightly off to me; in the sense that in the books, often in the best parts, what remains unsaid prevails – and it's no coincidence that the stories always end in reticence – which most people don't grasp (here I'm referring to the stupid aphorisms that have become famous on Facebook, overlooking much more important aspects of the narrative). I hope the films prove me wrong, practically. I'm trying. Good review that makes you want to see two films.

mediocre story, elementary screenplay, holes everywhere. Only Alfred saves it and a few lines here and there.

A very interesting and inspired game for its time, one of the first I had on the PS2. It's definitely aged like crap because it aimed for a constrained free-roaming (like Driver) and less nonsense (like GTA). Today, we would find it a bit too linear. I remember the story being wonderful and full of references.

I'm listening to something by sol eye sea (or whatever it is). It's definitely my cup of tea, but the certain guitar riffs whoaaaaaaaaaaaa kind of mess things up a bit. It's got a very Mastodon sound in some parts. But there, the guitars blend well together.
