Good start! They don't inspire me much, you know, that horrible singing has been my nightmare with Italian prog (the peak of unlistenable for me is Gianni Leone in YS) and so far the Italian prog voices I like are two: Paolo Carella of Pholas Dactylus (one of my favorite Italian records) and Di Giacomo from Banco. From the way you described it, it doesn't seem like a masterpiece... I mean, just for completists.

I think like Larrok, Hymnen, and Franci! That is: Scaruffi can say whatever he wants, it's up to the individual to decide whether what is said is nonsense or not. Of course, I also think Scaruffi spouts a lot of bullshit, but that's just my opinion, I think it and that's it. I don't wage anti-Scaruffi battles. What do I care? The followers make me laugh a bit, though, those who see every word spoken by the Master as pure gold. But they are an example... I mean, it makes me chuckle a bit at those who don't use their own ears but rely on those of others.

I ended up here drawn in by the cover (which I really like) and the reviewed album didn’t seem bad to me, precisely because it feels different from the usual SunnO))) that I've never really connected with; in fact, at times I find them a bit annoying. I’ll give this a try, who knows..

Keep in mind that I absolutely detest the growl; it really irritates me. Even in Isis I don't like it; I would enjoy them three times more without that rasp that pops up from time to time.
