uhm, never heard of him... of course, his face makes him seem unlikable right off the bat... -_-´ I couldn't help but think about how j&r describes him. But as I said, he might actually be great, huh!

interesting film; I don't find it an unreachable masterpiece as some say, but it has the merit of not being heavy, which is not a given considering the "silence" that pervades the film, something noteworthy that nevertheless showcases the director's abilities.
Darren Aronofsky Black Swan (Il cigno nero)
Voto:
I still haven't seen it, because the fact that a lot of people, whose tastes in cinema (but also in general) often clash with mine, have spoken highly of it has made me suspicious. Plus, I'm a bit of a snob and I tend to avoid things that are too hyped automatically ^^

It may also be that I love ancient Egypt and therefore I like them by default, but for me they are one of the most interesting metal bands straddling the 90s and 00s... this and the following two masterpieces, brutal and technical death, but not for its own sake, with inserts that are never out of place, referencing ancient Egypt, with the extensive use of "historically accurate" instruments.

It must be me being snobby, or maybe I just don’t have a sense of humor, but these have never really appealed to me, quite the opposite.
