AA.VV. Gods Of Metal 2009
Voto:
For me, last year's lineup (especially regarding the second day, but also the third) was much better, but that's because I prefer heavier sounds; objectively, bands like Edguy, Tesla, Motley Crue, Heaven and Hell (and if they aren’t the gods, then who is?! God by name and by fact!), etc. are really good for their genre. And then there were also bands like Cynic, Voivod, which are absolutely badass and not for the mainstream audience. Of course, it’s pointless to expect them to hold a concert with only niche bands; they still need to make a profit, and especially in Italy, people won’t budge if they don’t see the usual big names (I heard that only about forty people showed up for Enslaved in Milan!).

Ah, among the most beautiful songs, in addition to the two you mentioned, I would also highlight the title track.

The first one by King Diamond that I listened to and still my favorite! It's amazing how he manages to blend history and music so well in his records, creating the right atmosphere every time! Maybe I would have explored the plot a bit more, which I think is the best among his albums, but in fact, it was difficult not to spoil anything.

Even though I haven't listened to the CD, I also give a rating to the band for their sales strategy, well done!

I wasn't inspired at all, but after hearing people speak well of it, I became a bit curious...
The Subways All or Nothing

I have to see them at Sziget, I only know "Rock and Roll Queen" by them, but now that I've heard it everywhere it’s gotten a bit annoying, even though I didn't mind it at first. Come on, let's hope they are really that good; I'm going mostly for Faith No More, since I missed them in Milan (and I even bought the tickets, damn it!!!).

I have this because I heard it described as the best metal concept album alongside Mindcrime by Queensryche, but I still need to delve into it. However, so far it doesn’t seem bad at all; Chainsaw Charlie is awesome! But I don’t find that rationality should lead to melancholy; on the contrary, usually when I’m feeling down emotionally, I actually appeal to rationality to try to rationalize the situation and not turn it into a drama.
Akira Toriyama Dragon Ball

Ah, by the way, Berserk is awesome!

The best anime are Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop; my rating would be 3 now, but I’ll raise it for the good memories.
