I watched it on a rental during a laid-back evening and didn't find it too bad; certainly nothing unmissable, but above the (actually quite low) average for the genre. Moreover, the director plays a bit with the clichés of the genre (like the camera zooming in from behind with unsettling music, only to find out that in reality there's no one there) and strives to be at least somewhat original.
