Morrowind captivated me less than other games of its kind; I always preferred the "competing" Gothic saga, which offered a lot of freedom but felt less overwhelming and better in terms of setting and atmosphere. Oh, and another absolute masterpiece (probably the last one I played before detoxing :( ) was Vampire Bloodlines (even though it was riddled with bugs).

At first, I considered this one to be lesser compared to the other two, but lately, I've been rediscovering and reevaluating it like crazy; initially, it seems too sober and simple compared to the others, but beneath the surface, an infinity of classy touches is hidden; for quite a while now, I've been (re)listening to it almost every day.
