Megadeth Warchest

Anyway, in the end many treat Megadeth as an inferior group to Metallica, but if we count the number of albums they have released and the average quality level, I think good old Dave comes out as a clear winner. Especially if we look at how the two bands are doing now! Then again, I've always found Mustaine to be likable by nature; I love the underdogs :D

Incredible, I was just checking their reviews today and I stumbled upon this without realizing it was featured on the home page :P ah, the bad side of aging, how it diminishes you :D anyway, I had heard the album a couple of times in passing and it seemed promising, I wanted to take a closer look since I read that it influenced kraut.

Ouch... the last one? And how are you going to manage now? :)

Great review and great game! However, I was initiated through the 2, which despite all its imperfections, I prefer to this one because of the memories and the atmosphere it evoked for me. Of course, the series took a real leap in quality with this one (even though the graphics engine was quite heavy on performance; as soon as it started to rain for me, everything would always stutter :/ whereas Vice City ran without issues).

Rece ok, a bit short but then again, on an EP by a well-known group, it's not necessary to spend too many words. I've been recommended "Gift Horse" by Moses Giganticus, has anyone heard it by chance?

Ah, great, I had heard their name mentioned often (I like avant-garde metal) but I never looked into them because online, at least on the sites I trust, I never found anything :) Could someone tell me a bit about the 3 albums? Or rather, the two that are left?

I'm currently in a full psychedelic phase, so I might like them! In the meantime, the cover and that kraut among the genres already make me hopeful :)

I no longer follow them since "Hail to the Chief"... anyway, if by "fake" it means that what they needed to say has already been said, I share that impression as well. I believe the peak has already been widely surpassed, even though the quality of "minor" albums is still well beyond the reach of many bands. The reception from fans is too biased for my tastes.

I have to say that I am really quite skeptical about this record (and I believe that probably everyone will rave about it regardless of the quality, especially because of the big name behind it, like I do after all), but of course I won’t deny it a listen in the future. Sure, I don’t expect anything at the level of the movies I love :)
