Bill Orcutt A New Way To Pay Old Debts

concise yet intriguing review; now let's see what others have to say about it (the album, of course) :)
Peter Hammill The Future Now

Well, he is great; I haven't heard this one in particular, but he's one of those artists where even in the "less successful" works you can always find some interesting ideas. Plus, his voice is truly spine-tingling.

On the other hand, I’ve never been crazy about the Ramones' pop punk... their singles always bring me joy, but it’s a formula I often can’t handle for an entire album; I prefer the punk of the early Wire or The Clash; not to mention things beyond like The Gun Club.

I have never listened to a whole album by U2...
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV

I find this a bit overrated; in fact, I think the first two are better, and the third is about on the same level. In any case, "Stairway" is one of those songs I can no longer listen to... Nevertheless, it's a great CD, wish we had more like it!
Corea Quien encuentra a la madre conoce a los hijos

Post-rock is one of those genres where I only need to know the "big names" for now; anyway, how's this sticom you’re talking about?
Justice Audio, Video, Disco

I quite like both their debut and Daft Punk; they’re certainly not among my favorite bands, but when I'm in the mood, listening to them is a pleasure... Plus, they have the advantage of being, in the car, a great compromise between my expectations and the mostly unfortunately mediocre tastes of my travel companions.

stooges and cramps? uhm, it could be interesting...
Fantasy Paint A Picture
Voto:
Good enough, but I've explored the prog underbrush more than sufficiently for now...
