But how did you end up listening to this Slovenian duo? Just out of curiosity :)
Lorenzo Ferrero La Nueva España
Voto:
Among other things, it’s a historical period that I find extremely fascinating; it doesn’t really relate much to music but still on the theme of the conquistadores, to anyone who hasn’t seen it, I highly recommend the magnificent ā€œAguirre, Wrath of Godā€ by Werner Herzog.

idol! :D
Darren Aronofsky The Wrestler
Voto:
uhm, I was expecting more enthusiastic comments... back then I saw it in the cinema and I really liked it, a film that doesn't tell anything new, but tells it very well as far as I'm concerned. And the parallels with Rocky that some have mentioned don't really resonate with me.
The Beach Boys Pet Sounds
Voto:
A record that, in my tastes, ranges from pleasant to extremely pleasant, but I've never quite understood who works themselves to the bone for this work; I find that the Beatles have definitely done better.
The Beach Boys The Smile Sessions

Anyway, the more I listen to it, even at mid-distance, the more convinced I become, so I’m contradicting myself dramatically and giving it a solid 5! Whether the tracks are rearranged or not, I enjoy it much more than the much-praised (though still good) Pet Sounds.

Anyway, I looked at some photos and indeed she's not exactly a knockout, huh!
