don't you dare talk about the ugly prog troglodyte punk! ;D

Progressive metal/hard has never won me over, even the ultra-praised Rush leave me quite indifferent, but the review is good.

If you find a woman like that, let me know if she has any friends! I'm already struggling to find ones who appreciate things like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. :D Even though my partner can now even tolerate Pere Ubu, she even starts humming their songs!

I didn't know them... at this point, for completeness, let's also add Dub War, Stuck Mojo, and Mind Funk (though I like them less than the ones mentioned before).

an American band that, like many others on the face of the planet, will never have the notoriety or the success it deserves. --> after all, most bands stop producing good stuff just when they become famous or shortly after (especially in metal, just look at nuclear blast ;D); at least we spare ourselves the rant of all the bimbiminkia who suddenly elevate them to their favorite group after never having paid attention to them before, and the old guard who say, "they were really a great band once, but now they've sold out and become mundane" etc etc :D
Slowdive Just For A Day

it doesn't reach the heights of loveless but they are another great band, less neurotic and more relaxed compared to MBV, but still a whirlwind of noise-melody in which it is sweet to sink.

I return to state that after many thoughtful listens, I consider it the best album by Montgomery...
