THE REVIEW

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the badassery

Why? Go ahead, read the title of this single unleashed by the legendary record label In The Red and tell me what you think. Looking at the artwork of this piece, would you perhaps expect some instrumental prog rock brick sweetened and orchestrated as prescribed by God? Of course not (thank God). What we have in front of us is a fusion of two tracks of ragged, rude and ignorant surf rock with atmospheres from a series Z film full of bikers, monsters, and sex.

The guitars scream like scream queens from some trashy 1950s drive-in horror movie. Faced with these manifestations of terror, the audience doesn't scream but laughs and asks for more. The drums sound oblique and dirty. The bass creates crazy rhythms on which to unleash with no restraint. The two songs flow in their total and absolute ignorance shedding blood without ulterior motives or philosophical reflections but just for the fun of it. Reverb, fuzz, and dirt nothing else. It's like listening to the wails of the cursed child of Dick Dale and the Cramps

Extraordinary like the combo of acid and Easy Rider.
