4.5 (just because otherwise it would take as much as the first 2)

another beautiful album by the Doors, more vibrant and "rock-blues" than the previous ones, inferior to the first two masterpieces, but our guys bid farewell in the best way possible, with an album worthy of their fame

Carlos Ruiz Zafón L'ombra del vento

They lent it to me, but I didn't get past the first 1-2 chapters because it didn't grab me at all... in any case, I don't think I ever returned it, and it should still be somewhere in my old house. If I find it, I'll try to give it a second chance.

another beautiful album, but perhaps a bit too "polished" compared to the previous one; here they smooth out the rough edges a bit too much (as pretazzo points out), making their sound cleaner and sharper, which loses some of the captivating raw and sick atmosphere of the previous one but in return gains in cohesion and impact; remaining in any case an excellent and inspired album.
