The album is legendary! One of those records you absolutely must have. I'm proud to have been born in the same year as such a piece of history :-)

Yes, the review is well written! Nothing to object to eh :-) The fact is that I don't agree with those who blame Phil for the pop shift of the 80s, which was a natural consequence and affected many greats of the previous decade, as you know better than me! Rock on'

BEST ALBUM BY OPETH ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING DAMNATION. A fair judgment, the absolute best song by the band.

Burden is perhaps one of the most beautiful songs Mikael has ever created! I think they should make more tracks like this.

Then you're a big ignorant because this is a truly unique record in every sense of the word. If you don't think like me, fine, but don't come here calling people names just because you're on the internet and don't know what the hell to do, plus you even hide behind anonymity... Just look, people like you comment on themselves.

But excuse me, after 24 years are you still thinking in terms of genres? Why not try to think about the music? Should we throw away Abacab - No Reply At All? So the 80s Queen were to be discarded? Change has always produced high-quality music despite the fact that I, for one, prefer works like A Trick of the Tail - The Lamb Lies Down... - Nursery Cryme... And enough with blaming Phil Collins!!!!! Have you ever listened to Peter Gabriel's solo work?? Same music! In fact, you should know that it was he who advised Phil on the foundations for Mama.

ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE! A testament that the true genius was MR. PHIL COLLINS! Peter is missing, but in an album like this, there's no need for anything else.. Phil's brilliance is unmatched.

Fantastic ignorant record. If instead of 78 it had been written 70' and everyone had talked about it as a masterpiece, you would have done the same. The record is a great record.

I liked that the reviewer captured the Zeppelin influences in I'm Above, even though I don't agree that Pearl Jam stopped making albums like Vs.. Vitalogy is from '94 and it's a great album! Anyway, getting back to this record, it's something unique, unrepeatable, and wonderful. Strong influences of hard rock, blues, psychedelia, and so much sadness and desolation. A MUST.
