It sucks. Really badly. One of the latest electronic/dubstep things that enchanted me is BURIAL. His "Untrue" from 2007 is pure digital poetry. But here I'm talking about art, not about this kind of trendy DJ for cocaine-fueled VIP parties in Los Angeles. Ah. He used to sing in a band. They were almost worse than his electronic stuff.

Unfortunately, it really bored me. What a shame, just in the last few months I have greatly reassessed "Monoliths & Dimensions" by Sunn, an album that hadn't impressed me, but today I adore it. I only have "Nattens Madrigal" by Ulver, which I bought back then, and I find it excellent, extremely raw Black Metal with such low fidelity even for the genre's standards... I haven't listened to anything else by them, but I'm curious.

The reception, well... regarding the album, what more can I say? It's my absolute favorite from the V.U., I even like it more than the banana album, and it's among my all-time favorites. Tracks like the heroin-induced hypnosis of "Lady Godiva's Operation" and the noise apotheosis of the immense "Sister Ray" are now printed in my DNA.
