Shellac Dude Incredible

A Shellac album hasn’t captivated me this well since their lethal debut [At Action Park]_Snagged in the land of the Krauts a couple of weeks ago.

But when the hell are these guys going to melt??? One on trust...
Primal Scream Screamadelica

Wonderful, no bullshit... not much else had a sound like this in '91. An album that not only stimulates the mind, but also gets the ass moving. Personally, I prefer the 'doubtful' "Vanishing Point" and that industrial masterpiece "XTRMNTR" (where among other things, as a sound manipulator and pedal wizard, none other than Mr. Kevin Shields is featured...)
Bad Brains Rock For Light

Milestone, to say the least. Album MI-CI-DIALE!
A Tribe Called Quest Midnight Marauders

Yes. Nice little disk. I should dust them off..

I have a good library crammed with esotericism, Indian stuff, Tibetan books of the dead, Egyptian books of the dead, etc… I stopped at Crowley. Who is highly overrated... Anyway, this book must be crap, like 90% of books of this kind from the last 50 years that only recycle and shuffle the cards to deceive poor souls with menstruation in their brains.

@proggen I don't know why, but it almost reminds me of an album by my beloved (running to vomit...) ELP...
Bob Mould Beauty & Ruin

I will listen to it.

Jokes aside (not really, my comment above is perfect to describe this stuff)...what’s the point of releasing an album in 2014 that would have sounded outdated even if it had come out in 1975? I’ve listened to a few tracks here and there, and I made the mistake of buying the previous 'Heritage'...super-moldy. In 1969, it would have been Progressive. Today, it would be better labeled Regressive Rock. But really badly Regressive...
