The hardest album by Deftones, which anyway had little to do with the so-called nu metal... Much more influenced by emo-core and new wave in the melodies... But then what the hell does NU METAL even mean? It's a term that became popular around '99 and the crossover died, swallowed up by trends and various shitty bands like Linkin Park, Adema, Limp Bizkit, etc. etc. etc.
